What can I say? I like a lot of things, but don't consider myself any one thing. eg. I like goth music, clothes & people, but don't really consider myself a goth. I like a lot of heavy metal, but don't consider myself a metaller. I like a lot of blues, but don't consider myself a bluesman. etc, etc, etc. I am me, and if that definition offends your sensibilities, then sorry but you're just going to have to be offended. Have some chocolate, chill out, and it'll all be better in the morining.

Q&A
Introvert or Extrovert?
I'm an introverted extrovert. Yes, I'm a shy show-off.

"Describe your dream girl."
Combine Alyson Hannigan, Tori Amos, Claire from school (have to work an age-old, unrequited love in there somewhere), Judi Trott (Maid Marian from "Robin of Sherwood"), Julieanne Regan (All About Eve), Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), Alexia Doig (Andromeda), Mel C (yes, you read right!), Melanie Leando (former UK Snowboarding Champion), Bjork, add in a hint of Jessica Rabbit, a touch of Audrey Hepburn's allure, the vocal talent of Julieanne Regan and Elizabeth Frazer, the sense of humour of Ruby Wax, the majesty of Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, the perky pixiness of Kylie as the Absinthe Fairy, the cute "girliness" of Molly Ringwald in Pretty In Pink... I'm not getting carried away at all, oh no, not me...

"Scary or soft & fluffy?
Scarily soft & fluffy...

Buy me things...

I like many and varied forms of things and stuff ... stuff and things ... Ask me about Lord of the Rings, I'll bore you all night long. Ask me about Star Wars, I'll do lightsabre noises and bad Alec Guinness impersonations. Ask me about Star Trek, I'll ask you which one. Say DS-9. Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on. Ask me about Bill Bailey, I'll probably start singing "Insect Nation". Ask me about David Lynch's "Dune", I'll quote the entire film to you. Ask me about mead, I'll introduce you to several bottles of the stuff :)

Update: Good lord, I have more interests than I thought! I say! How do I keep up with myself?

Update 2: I am a Gemini born in the Year of the Dog. My friendship, love and loyalty are like a dog's - once given, it is total and unquestioning. It takes a LOT to change that.

Update 3: Having pondered long and hard over the question, I have to come clean. I probably actually am a Goth. But don't tell anyone, I don't want it getting out, OK?
:D

Update 4: Through a most unusual set of circumstances, which may or may not have had something to do with rocket-powered, monkey-navigated jetbikes, I found myself as Chairperson of MeCon 9. Having obviously not learned my lesson first time round, I foolishly volunteered to do it all over again next year, and thus became Chairperson for MeCon 10 as well! This year, I have learnt my lesson and am no longer MeCon chairperson. I am still on the committee, though, and as this one is also the 2008 Unicon, it's going to be big! :D

Grammar God!
You are a GRAMMAR GOD!

Congratulations! If your mission in life
is not already to preserve the English tongue,
it should be. You can smell a grammtical
inaccuracy from fifty yards. Your speech is
revered by the underlings, though some may
blaspheme and call you a snob. They're just
jealous. Go out there and change the world.
